We're looking for a Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development Manager to lead our supplier strategy for electronic components, PCBAs, mechanical assemblies, optics, cables, and contract manufacturing services. This role owns supplier development, strategic negotiations, second-source implementation, PPV (Purchase Price Variance) reduction, and long-term supply resilience. The position works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, EMS partners, and Operations leadership to ensure scalable and cost-competitive supply solutions.

Own strategic sourcing roadmap across electronic and electro-mechanical commodities.
Develop category strategies and long-term supplier relationships.
Lead RFQ/RFP activities, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
Own annual PPV reduction targets and sourcing-driven cost-reduction programs.
Develop and execute second-source and dual-source strategies for critical technologies.
Partner with R&D to drive Design for Sourcing and reduce single-source dependency.
Monitor supplier market dynamics, lead times, allocation risks, and capacity constraints.
Build supplier scorecards and lead supplier-development initiatives.

7+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, commodity management, or supply chain roles.
Experience in electronics manufacturing, hardware, industrial systems, automotive, medical device, IoT, telecom, mobility, or similar industries.
Demonstrated success negotiating commercial agreements and cost-reduction initiatives.
Experience working with EMS / contract manufacturing partners.
Strong understanding of BOMs, supplier-cost structures, AVL strategy, and lifecycle management.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
