Description
We are looking for a strategic, highly analytical, and execution-oriented Director of Marketplace Growth to lead Fiverr's self-serve marketplace growth engine. In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of our product-led growth initiatives, driving measurable revenue growth through experimentation, funnel optimization, lifecycle marketing, and marketplace monetization.
As the business owner of our self-serve revenue engine, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Marketing, and Revenue teams to identify growth opportunities, accelerate user acquisition and conversion, and continuously optimize marketplace performance through data-driven decision making.
What am I going to do?
Own Marketplace Growth Strategy: Define and execute the growth strategy for Fiverr's self-serve marketplace, driving revenue across the entire customer lifecycle.
Lead Product-Led Growth Initiatives: Optimize acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization through product-led growth strategies and marketplace optimization.
Drive Experimentation: Build and lead a high-velocity experimentation program, including A/B testing, onboarding optimization, pricing and packaging experiments, landing page improvements, and conversion rate optimization.
Optimize Marketplace Performance: Continuously analyze user behavior, marketplace dynamics, supply-demand balance, and conversion funnels to unlock scalable growth opportunities.
Lifecycle Marketing & Growth Programs: Partner with Marketing teams to develop lifecycle marketing initiatives, acquisition strategies, demand generation programs, and user engagement campaigns that directly impact revenue.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Revenue teams to prioritize initiatives, align stakeholders, and drive execution across multiple organizations.
Growth Analytics & KPI Ownership: Define, monitor, and own key marketplace growth metrics, using data and insights to guide strategic decisions and maximize business impact.
Identify New Growth Opportunities: Constantly explore innovative growth levers, commercial opportunities, and scalable initiatives to accelerate marketplace revenue.
Requirements
8+ years of experience leading Growth, Product Growth, Marketplace Growth, or Growth Marketing in high-scale technology companies.
Proven experience driving Product-Led Growth and scaling self-serve revenue businesses.
Strong background in marketplace businesses, preferably two-sided marketplaces.
Extensive experience leading experimentation programs, including A/B testing, conversion optimization, and funnel analysis.
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design, and Data Science teams.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into strategic business decisions.
Commercial mindset with a passion for revenue growth and customer experience.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused approach with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Preferred Background
Experience in marketplace or transaction-based platforms such as Fiverr, Uber, Airbnb, Booking, Etsy, Upwork, DoorDash, Lyft, Instacart, Thumbtack, or similar high-scale technology companies.
Experience in lifecycle marketing, marketplace monetization, self-serve SMB products, and growth experimentation.
