SolarEdge is looking for an experienced Mechanical Team Leader to join our Automated Test Equipment (ATE) department, part of the Core Technologies group. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers responsible for developing robust, production-grade mechanical solutions that support our global manufacturing lines — from in-house tester PCB design through to fully integrated automated test stations.

Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers focused on ATE mechanical development
Own end-to-end design and delivery of test fixtures, harnesses, jigs, and pneumatic automatic testing stations for production lines
Drive in-house tester PCB mechanical design, working shoulder to shoulder with ATE electrical engineers
Work closely with ATE electrical, software, and test engineers to deliver fully integrated test solutions
Drive mechanical designs from concept through prototype, validation, and mass production release
Collaborate with manufacturing sites globally to ensure solutions meet production requirements for reliability, repeatability, and maintainability
Lead prototype assembly activities and support production bring-up

B.Sc. or higher in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
5–10 years of hands-on mechanical design experience
At least 2–3 years in a team lead or tech-lead role
Proven experience designing production fixtures, jigs, or automated test equipment — Must
Experience in PCB mechanical design, working in collaboration with electrical engineers — Must
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with electrical and software engineers
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment
Fluent English — written and spoken
