SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Process mapping: To identify the opportunity matrix in existing process flow at customer sites.
Qualifying an opportunity Work with UK Product Managers to decide if we want to compete based on knowledge of the application
Review competitive and commercial situation, strategic value.
Customer road map: Identify N+1 and N+2 process requirements
Report back to product management.
Sales support Once an opportunity is qualified,Work closely with Sales team
providing answers to questions from the customer/sales team.
Conference calls and/or visiting the customer
progress the opportunity through discussion and presentation.
Assisting the UK Product Management team and experts in the Business Units (BU) in answering purchasing specifications.
Providing inputs to the Contract Managers for accurate quoting (Draft System Configuration Details).
On-site Evaluation tool management Be a single point of contact between field team and Factory
Keep track of progress of evaluation
Explain the progress made and highlight if any CIPs are needed
All these should be backed up by data generated onsite
Develop information sources Develop contact at customers and suppliers
Brief analysts in factory (market intelligence).
Sharing the information gathered with Product Management & the BU.
Customer Demos For qualified opportunity that need demo
Discuss the demo requirements in detail
Co-work to complete the demo request form
Review it with the customer and BU.
Take part in live demo on a case by case basis
Competitor analysis Using a variety of information sources, learn about our competitors’ products in terms of specifications, pricing, development plans etc. Assist the Product Managers in maintaining a competitor database.
Tool performance & CIPs: Review tool performance and determine if existing CIPs helps or new CIPs are needed.
Market research Develop an understanding of regional market and trends using knowledge gained from customers, suppliers, analysts (including our own Market Analyst), conference papers, internet research, etc.
Product promotion Attend trade shows and conferences. Contribute to technical papers & give presentations at the same. Identify new opportunities to promote the products and SPTS. Online promotion through webinars.
