Simulations Physicist

Description Magnus-Metal is a ground-breaking start-up specializing in the development of an innovative additive casting process for producing exceptionally large metal components. This cutting-edge digital technology merges traditional casting with additive manufacturing. Our machine has successfully validated the technology and process. We are expanding our physics team and seeking a PhD-level physicist to support simulation-driven development and early experimental validation. The role of Simulation Physicist focuses on the development and application of Multiphysics models to support both ongoing process-understanding and the evaluation of new physical concepts. The position is simulation-driven and involves translating coupled physical phenomena into predictive models, with emphasis on electromagnetics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics. The work supports design decisions and deepens understanding of complex physical processes within the system. The role requires strong physical intuition, solid numerical modeling capabilities, and the ability to extract clear insights from simulation results, working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary R&D teams. Duties and Responsibilities • Develop and execute Multiphysics simulations involving electromagnetics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics • Build and refine models to support understanding of existing processes and system behavior • Perform parametric studies and validate models against experimental data. • Analyze simulation results and provide physics-based interpretation • Identify dominant physical mechanisms and simplify complex systems where appropriate Requirements Qualifications • PhD in Physics (preferred), or a PhD in mechanical engineering or material science with a strong background in physics • Demonstrated capability in building and validating multiphysics models (COMSOL, ANSYS, or similar) • 3+ years of industry experience • Programming skills (Python, MATLAB, or similar) Date: 10/03/2026 Industrial Park Revadim, Kibbutz Revadim, POB 600, ZIP 7982000 , Israel • Open-minded. • Strong interrelationship capabilities. • Self-driven, independent, delivery-oriented.
