AWS Solution Architect

Description abra Cloud is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect. We are looking for a skilled AWS Solutions Architect to design, validate, and deliver scalable cloud solutions for enterprise customers. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing consulting, helping organizations architect secure, resilient, and cost-effective AWS environments. This role requires strong AWS architecture experience, technical leadership capabilities, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical cloud solutions. A full-time hybrid position, based in Ra'anana, Israel. Key Responsibilities: Design and validate end-to-end AWS architectures aligned with customer business and technical requirements. Lead technical discussions and workshops with customers, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders. Produce architecture deliverables including HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, SOWs, BCPs, and DRPs. Perform AWS cost estimations and architecture assessments using tools such as AWS Pricing Calculator and Well-Architected Reviews. Support migrations, modernization initiatives, and cloud adoption programs. Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions. Provide technical guidance and stay up to date with evolving AWS technologies and best practices. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in development, infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, solutions architecture, or technical pre-sales roles delivering production solutions on AWS or another major public cloud platform. Proven hands-on experience designing solutions using AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFront, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, and IAM. Experience preparing AWS cost estimates and conducting architecture validation activities. Experience writing technical and commercial documentation, including SOW, HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, BCP, and DRP. Coding or scripting experience using technologies such as Python, Node.js, .NET, Java, or Go. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences. Strong customer-facing capabilities and experience leading technical conversations. Self-driven, curious, resourceful, and highly collaborative mindset. Nice to Have: AWS Associate or Professional certifications, with AWS Solutions Architect Professional considered a strong advantage. Experience working within an AWS Partner, MSP, consulting, or professional services environment. Experience leading Well-Architected Reviews, migration programs, or cloud modernization initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Fluent English, with strong Hebrew considered an advantage.
