Job description
Description
About Okoora
Okoora is the embedded FX infrastructure layer for banks, neo-banks, ERPs, TMSs, payment platforms, and fintechs. We power the companies that move money, we do not compete with them. We are scaling globally, with a sharp focus on Europe and the United States.
The opportunity
We are opening a new growth channel: a global partner ecosystem of companies that already sit close to our ICP and can open doors we cannot open alone. Core banking vendors, ERP and TMS providers, payment platforms, fintech enablers, technology integrators, and consulting firms.
This is a first-hire, single-contributor role. You will build the channel from zero, sign the partners, activate them, and run the relationships that turn them into a steady source of qualified opportunities. You will report directly to the CEO and own a function, not a slot in one.
What you will do
Identify and engage target partners globally, with a focus on Europe and the United States.
Run the full partner cycle: outreach, qualification, negotiation, and signing.
Activate partners with the right materials, enablement, and rhythm so they refer real opportunities, not goodwill.
Manage the ongoing relationship: regular touchpoints, joint planning, and quarterly business reviews.
Hand off qualified leads to Okoora's sales teams and stay close through to deal close.
Report partner health, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact directly to the CEO.
Who you are
At least 3 years in channel partnerships, partner development, or strategic alliances within B2B fintech, payments, banking technology, ERP, TMS, or SaaS infrastructure.
You have built a partner pipeline from zero before. You know the difference between a logo on a slide and a partner who actually delivers.
You operate as a heavy daily user of AI tools. You build your own leverage with agents, automated research, outreach workflows, and content production. You do not visit AI, you live there.
You are equally strong as a hunter and as a nurturer. Both sides of the role are non-negotiable.
You are self-directed, comfortable with full ownership, and do not need to be managed in the day to day.
Your business English is native or near native.
Nice to have
Additional business languages, particularly German, French, or Spanish.
An existing network across core banking, ERP, TMS, payments, or fintech ecosystems.
Direct experience operating across European and US markets.
What we offer
A category-defining position to sell from: infrastructure, not another PSP.
Direct ownership of a global function from day one.
A short reporting line to the CEO and high visibility across the company.
Base salary plus a performance-based bonus tied to real revenue from the partner channel.
Is this role relevant for you?
