What you'll do
Design, implement and improve vision-based flight control and autonomy algorithms for production systems
Develop algorithms running both onboard the aircraft and off-board on companion or ground systems
Take algorithms from initial concept and simulation through live flight experiments and production deployment
Collaborate closely with perception pipelines, flight controllers and system engineers, iterating rapidly based on real-world flight data and operational feedback
Own the full lifecycle of your work, from design and implementation to testing, tuning, deployment and ongoing production improvements
Requirements
5+ years of experience in developing algorithms deployed in production or operational systems
Strong background in control systems, robotics, autonomy or perception
Hands-on experience taking algorithms from research into real-world environments
Practical experience implementing algorithms in Python or C++
Comfortable working close to hardware, sensors and real-time constraints
Nice to Have
Experience with drones, autonomous vehicles or flight control systems
Background in visual navigation, perception-driven control, sensor fusion or GNSS-denied navigation
Experience with simulation-to-real workflows and live flight testing
Linux development and debugging experience
