Job Family Definition:
Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs. Creates and maintains effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction. Provides the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations. Aligned to specific products or product-lines.
The Consulting Systems Engineer is also a subject matter expert in their area of specialization (i.e., Mobility, Security, Branch, etc), responsible for consulting customers on end to end technical designs to meet their business need.
These jobs focus on selling to customers, typically through work that occurs outside HPE offices. This role is hybrid, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office and visit customer sites.
Management Level Definition:
Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, customer-facing Presales Systems Engineer to support our growing HPE Networking business in Israel. This is an exciting opportunity for a networking professional who enjoys combining technical expertise, business insight, and strong communication & presentation skills to help customers solve real-world challenges.
In this role, you will partner with sales teams, channel partners, and customers to design, position, and demonstrate modern networking solutions across the HPE Networking portfolio, including technologies from Aruba and Juniper Networks.

Responsabilities:
Partner with account managers and channel partners to identify customer needs and align technical solutions to business outcomes.
Support opportunities across Israel, as a trusted advisor.
Design and position end-to-end networking solutions across campus, branch, data center, wireless, switching, network access control, security, and cloud-managed networking.
Deliver engaging customer presentations, technical workshops, whiteboarding sessions, demonstrations, and discovery conversations in both Hebrew and English.
Support proof-of-concept (POC) to validate solution fit and business value.
Design architectures, bill of materials, and proposals aligned to customer requirements.
Respond to technical portions of customer requests including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
Articulate HPE Networking differentiation clearly against competitors.
Help grow pipeline by identifying expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, IT teams, and decision-makers.
Support customer and partner enablement activities including training, demos, and technical guidance.
Continuously build expertise across the combined HPE Networking portfolio and stay current on market trends, competitive moves, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in a presales, systems engineering, network consulting, or customer-facing technical role.
Strong background in networking infrastructure.
Experience with technologies across the HPE Aruba and/or Juniper portfolio.
Familiarity with one or more of the following areas: Wireless LAN / Campus switching /Data Cnter Switching / Routing / NAC / policy enforcement / Security / AI-driven operations / Cloud-based network management.
Relevant certifications from HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or similar vendors.
Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or indirect sales models.
Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for customers and partners.
Experience delivering customer presentations, demos, technical design discussions, and solution recommendations.
Comfort working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with virtual teams.
Strong relationship-building, listening, storytelling, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in Hebrew and English, with confidence presenting and writing in both languages.
Ability to travel on site within the defined territory for customer and partner meetings.
