The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Data Center Engineer to join our Lab team in Ra’anana.
This role is critical in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with frequent real-time issues and constant growth. You will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and scaling our data center infrastructure, while helping bring structure and reliability to day-to-day operations.
You’ll report to the Lab Manager and work closely with Networking, IT, R&D, and Support teams.
What You’ll Do
Data Center Operations
Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment, and cabling
Perform rack & stack activities and ensure proper cabling and labeling standards
Monitor power, cooling, and overall facility health
Support capacity planning (space, power, cooling)
Troubleshooting & Support
Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues under pressure
Handle tickets end-to-end with high ownership
Troubleshoot connectivity issues (L1–L3) in complex environments
Work closely with vendors on RMA and hardware lifecycle
Network & Systems
Support deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure (routing, switching, VLANs)
Assist with OS and virtualization environments (Linux, VMware, etc.)
Ensure systems are configured securely and according to best practices
Process & Improvement
Improve documentation, SOPs, and lab organization
Maintain accurate inventory, rack diagrams, and system documentation
Help reduce recurring issues and increase operational efficiency
Requirements
Must-Have
3+ years of hands-on experience in a Data Center environment
CCNA or equivalent certification
Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching)
Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware and network layers
Experience with rack & stack, cabling, and physical infrastructure
Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have
Experience with liquid cooling technologies
Familiarity with Linux / virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V)
Experience with DCIM tools or hybrid/cloud environments
