Nova is looking for a DevOps Team Leader to lead and own the DevOps domain of the SW group, with end-to-end responsibility over CI/CD, ALM, and IT infrastructure.
In this role, you will become an integral part of the SW organization, enabling development teams and increasing productivity by partnering with cross-organizational functions. As part of this role, you will hold full accountability for DevOps platforms, infrastructure stability, scalability, and continuous improvement. The role combines hands-on technical leadership, automation, and people management, with a strong focus on operational excellence, collaboration, and delivery.
Role Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
Own and lead DevOps, CI/CD, and ALM processes for existing and new products
Design, implement, and continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance, stability, and visibility
Lead process automation and continuous improvements using Azure DevOps (on‑prem TFS), Jira, Git‑based tools
Take full ownership of DevOps IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, labs, images, and HPC environments
Participate in new products and computational product design
Act as the technical lead and decision owner for DevOps and IT initiatives
Lead and grow the DevOps team, define clear ownership, and act as Scrum Master
Support customer deployments and new product implementations
Requirements
4+ years of experience as a Team Leader
10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
Strong experience with Azure DevOps (TFS – on premises), Jira, Git, GitLab/GitHub, Artifactory
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins)
Strong background in Microsoft and Linux infrastructure
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices
Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills
HPC infrastructure experience - Advantages
PowerShell and/or Bash scripting - Advantages
Big Data systems (HDFS, Cloudera) - Advantages
Deep expertise in Azure DevOps - Advantages
