Job description
Description
Have you ever dreamed of joining a promising early-stage startup as one of the first employees? So, here’s an opportunity to join our exciting journey.
Espresso Clinical is on a mission to make clinical trials — the complex, high-stakes process of testing new drugs and treatments — faster, safer, and more likely to succeed. We're building an AI-powered platform that helps pharmaceutical companies and research organizations monitor their trials in real time, catch problems early, and make better decisions with their data. We integrate with the tools the industry already uses, and we build everything to meet strict regulatory standards. It's early days, which means you'll have a real impact on both the product and the company.
The Role:
Product Manage
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to own key product areas end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and is excited to build and ship quickly with a high-impact team. In this role, you will research and turn the problem statements into flows, screens, and shipped functionality. This is a tactical build role: you’ll work directly with the founders, engineers, and our advisory panel of clinical ops leaders to define system needs, run discovery, and produce production-ready specs and prototypes
What You’ll Do:
Own product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration, problem → design → spec.
Map integrations, data flows, and define MVP scopes, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
Define requirements, user stories, and priorities aligned with business goals
Run structured customer/advisor research, synthesize insights, and prioritize a lean roadmap.
Work closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Balance customer needs, technical constraints, and speed of execution
Use data and customer feedback to continuously improve the product
Play a key role in shaping the company’s product roadmap
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of product management experience
Experience in regulatory infrastructure and experience with health care systems will be a big plus
Strong track record of shipping and scaling customer-facing products
Comfortable working in ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams
B2C or B2B2C experience
Nice to Have
Background in healthcare
Why Espresso:
High ownership and real influence on the product
Small, collaborative team with a strong bias for action
Opportunity to build do-good products in a growing space
