Pentera

Pentera is an Israeli cybersecurity company headquartered in Petah Tikva. The company builds an automated security validation platform that continuously tests enterprise networks by safely emulating real attacker techniques — allowing security teams to discover and prioritize exploitable vulnerabilities without relying solely on periodic manual penetration tests.

Pentera's platform is sold under the name Pentera (formerly ReSec Technologies rebranded; the core automated pentest product has carried the Pentera name since the company rebranded around 2021). The product targets enterprise security and IT teams — primarily CISOs and red-team or vulnerability-management functions — at mid-to-large organizations. It is sold through a sales-led, enterprise-contract motion, with a channel-partner layer in key geographies. The technical approach centers on safe, credential-free attack emulation across internal network surfaces, attempting to replicate what an unauthenticated attacker inside the perimeter could actually accomplish, and producing a ranked remediation list rather than a raw list of CVEs.
