Lightrun

Lightrun is an Israeli company operating in the developer observability and debugging space. The company was founded by Ilan Peleg and Leonid Blouvshtein. Lightrun's platform allows developers to add logs, metrics, and traces to running production or staging applications in real time, without stopping the process, redeploying code, or restarting services — a capability sometimes called "live debugging" or "runtime observability."

The primary product is a developer-side observability agent that instruments live applications on demand. The core problem it addresses is the gap between what traditional APM tools surface and what a developer actually needs to diagnose a specific bug in production: existing tools require pre-instrumented code, whereas Lightrun lets an engineer insert a snapshot, log, or counter dynamically into a running JVM, Node.js, or Python process.
