It matches these networks against official tax registries to flag unregistered businesses or underreported income. The core technical mechanism relies on machine learning algorithms designed to resolve entity identities across disparate and unstructured public sources, built specifically for the needs of public revenue agencies.

IVIX operates in a highly specific niche at the intersection of GovTech and Fintech. Rather than targeting enterprise security or compliance teams, its buyers are exclusively government tax agencies. Publicly disclosed customers include the US Internal Revenue Service (specifically the Criminal Investigation division) and multiple US state-level tax authorities.
