Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is a state-owned defense and aerospace company, wholly owned by the State of Israel. IAI operates multiple facilities in Israel, with its headquarters and primary production site in Lod. R&D, manufacturing, testing, and systems integration are all concentrated in Israel. IAI is a major employer in the Israeli economy and has traditionally drawn talent from IDF technological units.
