HOLISTO

Holisto, originally founded in 2015 under the name Splitty, was established by Eran Shust (CEO), Avi Wortzel, and Omri Gal. The company develops an AI-driven hotel booking platform. In 2022, Holisto signed a SPAC merger agreement with Moringa Acquisition Corp, aiming to list on the NASDAQ at an implied valuation of approximately $400 million. However, the merger was mutually terminated in early 2023 due to market conditions.

Holisto's core technology focuses on searching, splitting, and combining hotel reservations from multiple wholesale suppliers. The system breaks a user's stay into separate booking segments or merges rates from different sources to reduce the total cost of the reservation. The platform targets consumers (B2C) in the travel tech space and generates revenue operating as an Online Travel Agency (OTA).
