Description
abra SAP department is seeking for a Finance Transition and Cutover Lead.
We are looking for a skilled Finance Transition and Cutover Lead to manage and execute the end-to-end migration of finance activities to a BPO partner, ensuring a seamless transition from blueprinting through go-live and hypercare.
This role requires extensive experience in finance operational transformations, deep knowledge of core accounting processes (P2P, O2C, R2R), and hands-on expertise in SAP-driven environments.
A full-time + hybrid position, based in Central Israel.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrated Transition Management: Own the end-to-end transition plan, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical path management from preparation to stabilization.
Knowledge Transfer & Documentation: Lead the transfer of process knowledge to the BPO provider, ensuring all work instructions, process maps, and country-specific exceptions are accurately documented and reviewed.
Cutover & Go-Live Governance: Define the cutover approach, manage readiness checklists, lead the "War Room" structure, and oversee daily decision-making during critical go-live periods.
Systems & Data Readiness: Coordinate with IT and master data owners to ensure system access, ERP interfaces (SAP B1/ECC), and data migration (GL, vendors, customers) are ready for service takeover.
Requirements
Proven Experience: Background in managing large-scale finance transitions, shared services moves, or ERP rollouts (SAP Business One experience is a significant advantage).
Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of core Finance processes (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report) in a global, multi-country environment.
Project Governance: Skilled in practical project management methodologies (PMP/PRINCE2/Agile) and maintaining RAID trackers (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions).
Communication & Leadership: Ability to bridge the gap between Finance, IT, and external providers while managing senior stakeholder interests constructively.
Execution-Oriented: A highly organized, hands-on professional who can identify risks early and maintain momentum without overcomplicating workflows.
