Senior Fullstack Engineer

Description LayerX is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams. The role involves software design and development of complex security capabilities and being a strong owner of a complicated cloud-native microservice architecture that protects millions of different web browsers across dozens of enterprise customers. Our Engineering Values: Customer First Engineering Excellence Continuous Improvement Shared Accountability Strong Ownership Challenge Anything Our Tech Stack AWS, GCP Node.js Typescript Python Kafka Redis Postgres Terraform + CDKTF Kubernetes ArgoCD SageMaker Github Actions Temporal.io Browser internals (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) Responsibilities Design and develop complicated security capabilities to defend against evolving web-based threats Take ownership of a mission-critical production system that safeguards millions of web browsers globally, ensuring the security of enterprise customers and their data Be part of our architecture and design forum and contribute to key decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Product Management, and Security Experts, to deliver robust and scalable solutions Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, peer reviews, and adherence to best practices in software development Deep dive into the fascinating world of web and browser security Work closely with account managers to maximize value delivery to our customers Release code sometimes several times per day with our advanced release management system Be part of a growing team of engineers who enjoy working together on hard engineering and security challenges Requirements 4+ years of experience Experience developing cloud native microservices Experience working with cloud vendors: AWS, GCP or Azure Experience working with Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps Experience in data modeling and relational databases System design and architecture capabilities Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced development environment Ability to debug and optimize complex systems to ensure high performance and reliability Experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions to enhance user satisfaction Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), ensuring quality is integrated at every development stage Proficiency in at least one object oriented programming language Experience working in a scrum team and in an agile environment Strong ownership and personal accountability Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills Self driven, proactive and resourceful, you seek challenge Advantages: Experience working in cybersecurity Deep knowledge of web and browser technologies / security Proficient in Node.js, Typescript or React B.Sc in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent technical field (or relevant experience from IDF)
