Customer Support Associate
Job Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE
At Arrow, we're currently looking for a Customer Support Associate. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to contribute individually and as part of a team by managing complex post-booking processes, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting high-tier customers across the full order-to-invoice cycle.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Provide internal and external customer service and sales support to the Inside Sales Team and customer engagements.
Manage the post-booking to invoice process, including maintenance of Value-Added orders, follow-up activities, and timely order fulfilment.
Handle backlog management, including complex and high-tier customer backlog, expedites, allocations, constrained materials, and open order demands.
Work with buyers, asset teams, different portals, and Business Intelligence systems to support order processing, reporting, and issue resolution.
Manage inbound customer order formats, including PDF, e-mail, and Microsoft Office documents, and work with BOMs, Customer Owned Parts, SWAPS, Internal Requisitions, and ISO-related activities.
Support the sales team through direct customer contact, report coordination, escalation support, and cooperation with First Article engineers to set up orders in the system.
WHO YOU ARE:
You have a university degree and 1-2 years of experience, or you are a high school graduate with equivalent related experience.
You communicate fluently in English; German, French, Spanish, or any other language would be a plus.
You have industry experience in a similar field and experience supporting sales efforts.
You are familiar with BOMs, quoting processes, expedites, and backlog/order management activities.
You are familiar with ERP systems; Oracle would be a plus.
You are familiar with Business Intelligence systems and can pull reports and use data to support daily operations.
You have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong communication skills with a teamwork-oriented approach.
