We are looking for a Project Management Officer for our NI Implementation Unit R&D.
The Implementation Unit PMO is responsible for ensuring that all software implementation and delivery projects are executed efficiently, meet organizational needs, and are aligned with business goals. The PMO oversees cross-project operations, optimizes resource usage, ensures visibility and governance, and supports managers in successfully driving initiatives to completion. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and alignment of the unit. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and an excellent communicator, supporting the team’s efficiency and success.
As a Cognyter, you will
Optimize human and technical resource utilization across multiple projects, manage allocations based on priorities and skills, and address capacity gaps and bottlenecks.
Ensure implementation projects align with organizational strategy, maintain accurate scope and timelines, and oversee project intake, prioritization, and governance.
Manage cross‑project dependencies and team interfaces while providing real‑time visibility into statuses, risks, and escalations.
Track KPIs, milestones, budgets, and timelines, driving consistent follow‑up and delivering clear reports to stakeholders.
Lead planning activities, strengthen project frameworks, support project leads with best practices, and uphold PMO standards and continuous improvement.
Requirements
For that mission you’ll need to have:
Technical & Professional Skills
At least 10 years of the Experience in PMO, project management, or delivery operations in a matrix environment
Strong understanding of software implementation lifecycles.
Ability to manage complex dependency maps across multiple teams and functions.
Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities.
Soft Skills
Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
Interface management: ability to build, maintain, and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.
Strong matrix management experience, influencing without authority.
Team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
Conflict resolution and effective escalation handling.
