Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a leadership-driven and highly technical Technical Project Manager to join our engineering team. In this role, your primary focus will be taking ownership of project delivery, driving new feature requests from concept to execution, and managing day-to-day Jira operations. This is the perfect role for a technical professional who wants to lead. While your main responsibilities are project organization, sprint planning, and task management, you possess a strong technical background. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on—from time to time, you will step in to perform QA testing and run application deployments on our servers. Key Responsibilities • Lead New Requests: Act as the primary point of contact for new feature requests. Analyze requirements, assess technical feasibility, and translate business needs into actionable engineering goals.. • Jira & Backlog Management: Own the Jira board. Responsibilities include opening, defining, and prioritizing Jira tasks, organizing sprints, and tracking ticket progress to ensure on-time delivery.. • Cross-Functional Coordination: Run Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and bridge the gap between product management and the development team.. • Occasional QA Testing (Hands-on): From time to time, support the team by executing functional and regression testing on web applications and APIs (using Postman) to ensure high-quality releases.. • Server Deployments: Periodically manage and run application deployments to staging and production servers using Git and existing CI/CD pipelines.. • Risk & Defect Management: Identify project bottlenecks, track bugs in Jira, and work closely with developers to ensure critical issues are prioritized and resolved.. דרישות: • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a technical environment, with proven experience in project management, technical product coordination, or serving as a technical Scrum Master / Team Lead.. • Jira Mastery: Deep experience with Jira (or similar project management tools), specifically in opening structured tasks, mapping out workflows, and managing sprints.. • Technical Requirement Gathering: Strong ability to take a new request, break it down technically, and explain it clearly to software engineers and Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON).. • Hands-on Git & Deployments: Practical experience using Git (GitHub/Bitbucket) and the technical capability to confidently trigger and run deployments on servers via CI/CD.. • Testing Capabilities: Solid understanding of QA methodologies and tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, Postman for API testing) to step in and test when needed.. • Communication: Exceptional English and Hebrew verbal and written communication skills to lead meetings, align stakeholders, and drive engineering tasks..
