Description
We are seeking a hands-on marketing leader to build the Regulus marketing engine from the ground up. In this role, you will own everything from brand and messaging to media presence, field marketing, and product marketing, while scaling awareness of the company and its technology across our core markets: the U.S., Israel, and Europe.
As a strategic manager who is ready to roll up your sleeves, you’ll be our first dedicated marketing hire at the helm: setting strategy, doing the actual work, hiring a small team beneath you (1–2 near-term, more as we grow), and orchestrating external agencies and creative studios where it makes sense. This position reports directly to the VP Business Development / Strategic Growth.
Responsibilities
Brand & Positioning: Define and own the Regulus brand, including voice, identity, narrative, and messaging across the entire product portfolio.
Team & Resource Management: Establish the marketing function from scratch, hire and lead the marketing team, and manage external agencies, freelancers, and creative studios.
Media & Awareness: Build Regulus's media presence across relevant geographies via PR, digital, social, content, and thought leadership to drive awareness of the company and its offerings.
Content Creation: Produce high-end visual and written content, campaigns, and brand assets, while leveraging GenAI tools to optimize content creation speed, scale, and quality.
Field Marketing: Plan and execute Regulus's presence at international trade shows, exhibitions, and defense events across our key markets, in close coordination with internal business stakeholders.
Product Marketing: Translate complex C-UxS and Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities into clear positioning and compelling marketing collateral, partnering closely with Product and Business Development teams.
Strategy & Budget: Own the annual marketing plan, manage the budget, and define/track key metrics to measure performance.
Requirements
Experience: 7+ years of marketing experience within defense, defense-tech, aerospace, HLS, or an adjacent deep-tech environment (Strong preference for familiarity with the defense ecosystem).
Hands-on Builder: A genuine builder who is equally comfortable setting high-level strategy and executing it solo without a large team to lean on.
Domain Expertise: Strong across brand, corporate, and product marketing, as well as MarCom, PR, content creation, and event management.
Global Event Management: Proven experience running international trade shows and exhibitions, ideally across U.S. and European markets (U.S. experience is a top priority).
AI Literacy: Proficient in leveraging modern GenAI tools into daily marketing workflows to streamline operations, maximize efficiency, and scale output.
Communication: Native-level English writing and verbal communication skills.
Leadership: Experience building or leading a small team and managing external vendors and creative partners.
Storytelling: Proven ability to turn complex, deep technology into a compelling, mission-first story.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience or deep familiarity with C-UxS, Electronic Warfare (EW), UAS, or sensing technologies.
