Description
Responsible for purchasing electronic components for development and production, ensuring quality standards.
Entering purchase orders, tracking them, and updating the system accordingly.
Managing the entire procurement process—from order placement to warehouse receipt and supplier payment.
Collaborating with R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Finance departments.
Daily communication with suppliers both domestically and internationally.
Initiating and improving procurement processes.
Requirements
Education: Practical Engineer / Industrial & Management Engineer or any relevant academic degree in electronics.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a buyer in an industrial company, with knowledge of the electronic components market locally and globally.
Expertise in electronic component procurement.
Strong negotiation skills across various deal sizes.
Advanced commercial skills and experience in closing large-scale contracts.
Deep familiarity with suppliers in the electronics/electromechanics field, both in Israel and abroad.
Experience in general procurement: handling products and services needed for daily company operations, such as consulting/support agreements, office furniture and equipment, IT and computing gear, building maintenance, electronic testing equipment, engineering software, training courses, and more.
Experience working with Priority ERP system.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and datasheets.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
