Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and verify hardware design tools, flows, and methodologies tailored to new technology nodes.
- Define and develop efficient methodologies for hardware development, integrating advanced EDA tools.
- Create and verify unique hardware designs, including full-chip integration and hierarchical systems, to enable end-to-end EDA tool testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and EDA vendors to define, test, and enhance next-generation design tools and methodologies.
- Develop, test, and optimize engineering design automation tools, flows, and methodologies with a focus on performance, power, and efficiency.
- Support the development and optimization of platforms, databases, scripts, and tool flows for automated hardware design processes.
- Build a deep understanding of digital design, verification, structural and physical layout, timing, and clocking to drive future innovations.
- Debug software and resolve issues in design tools and methodologies to ensure robust hardware development solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
- 3-5+ years' experience
- Proficiency in Unix-based environments.
- Expertise in tools, flows, and methodology (TFM) development for hardware design.
- Hands-on experience in layout construction, layout verification, and physical design optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to debug software and resolve issues in design automation tools.
- Python and TCL knowledge

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with collaborating with external EDA vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance and optimize tools and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity in hardware design.
