Role summary
We’re looking for a Data Analytics Team Lead who is a tech-enthusiast with a drive for excellence, and an out-of-the-box mindset to satisfy business needs in a complex payment solution environment.
Lead a small data analytics team and own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact analytical solutions. This role combines people leadership with hands-on analytics: you will set the bar for analytical excellence, ensure high-quality outputs, and drive measurable business value from data.

What You’ll Do
Data Analytics & Impact
Build deep understanding of business processes, data flows, and systems across the organization.
Conduct population and funnel analyses to identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
Own the full lifecycle of analytical work: from data exploration and modeling to insight generation and recommendations.
Partner with BI and DE to ensure data models and pipelines support scalable, reliable analytics and reporting.
Perform hands-on analysis using Big Query and BI tools; build and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all outputs.
(Potential scope expansion) Support product teams with key metrics, event tracking, and feature performance analysis.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2–3 data analysts at different seniority levels, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.
Provide technical and analytical guidance, conduct reviews, and promote best practices in analytics and documentation.
Coordinate cross-location projects with BI, DPM, and DE teams, ensuring clear priorities, smooth communication, and timely delivery.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Collaborate with product, business, and operations to understand needs and translate them into analytical projects and actionable insights.
Present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, emphasizing impact and recommended actions.
Work with stakeholders to refine outputs, implement analytical improvements, and track value realization.
Prioritize requests and manage the analytics backlog/roadmap to maximize business impact.
Who You Are
4–7+ years in data/BI analytics, including experience leading or mentoring analysts
Strong Big Query skills and hands-on experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
Experience working with large, complex datasets and with BI/Data Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders, ideally in distributed teams
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights
Strong communication and storytelling skills; high ownership mentality and focus on measurable results
Familiarity with using AI/ML for analytics (e.g., predictive models, anomaly detection, AI-assisted insights)
Nice to have - exposure to product analytics (product KPIs, event tracking, A/B testing)
