We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Israel Field Service team. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that combines hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and direct interaction with customers across Israel. What You'll Do:
Provide on-site and remote technical support for SolarEdge products and systems installed throughout Israel.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical, hardware, software, and communication issues involving inverters, power optimizers, batteries, EV chargers, and energy management solutions.
Perform testing, system diagnostics, repairs, and equipment replacement as required.
Document service activities, case updates, and resolutions using the SolarEdge CRM system.
Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure timely and effective customer service.
Deliver a professional, high-quality customer experience while representing SolarEdge in the field.
Travel regularly to customer sites across Israel.
Requirements
Technician or Practical Engineer qualification in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
Valid Israeli Electrician License.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical field service role.
Valid Israeli driver's license.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in electrical and electromechanical systems.
Customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of spoken and written Hebrew and English.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple service calls.
Willingness to travel extensively across Israel and work extended hours when required.
